Jesus Saves

but Esposito scores on the rebound!

2. Mrs. Peel - April 1, 2006

That’s awesome. Although I would think Jesus would have Improved Evasion, allowing him to take no damage if he makes his reflex save. You would have to use Magic Missile to touch him at all.

Ok, now I’m going to hell.

Also, I’m a nerd, not a geek. The distinction is very important.

(I need that t-shirt that says “Resistance is futile, if less than 1 Ω.”)

3. HayZeus - April 1, 2006

I want one!!

4. blogidaho - April 1, 2006

“Resistance is futile, if less than 1 Ω.”

Now that’s funny.

I debated over Nerd vs Geek… sorry.
I’m revealing my non-nerdiness when I admit that I don’t know where the Ohm sign is on my keyboard.

alt+234, my dear Geezer. Alt+234.

6. Dave in Texas - April 1, 2006

put some wheels on it and you’ve got a mobile ohm

7. BrewFan - April 1, 2006

Groan

8. Dave in Texas - April 1, 2006

Get used to it pal. That’s the kind of smokin comedy GOLD you can expect me to bring to the table.

9. blogidaho - April 1, 2006

Ohm my G-d!

Of Deities & Demigods

Funny little D&D/Jesus joke. It’s probably very old, but then, you know I only hear about this stuff a year or two later. Thanks to Blog Idaho/Retired Geezer….

Actually, it’ Option-z as in:  Ω

12. blogidaho - April 2, 2006

Lemme try it:
Ω
Hey cool. It worked on my Mac.
That ought to be easy to remember, Omega is the last letter of the Greek alphabet and so is “Z”.

BTW, in case people don’t think Christians have a sense of humor, I got this from a guy who works on a Hospital Ship with YWAM, (Youth With A Mission).

Hey, maybe we should start a riot about this Cartoon.

Although I would think Jesus would have Improved Evasion, allowing him to take no damage if he makes his reflex save

Get that d20 stuff out of here. Jesus plays 1st Edition.

15. Octopus - April 3, 2006

Q: Why do Christians color Easter eggs?

A: Because Jesus dyed for our sins.

Commence rioting now. :)

Jesus comes upon a crowd about to stone a woman for adultery. He stands in between the crowd and the woman and says, “Let he who has not sinned cast the first stone.” The crowd becomes silent, shuffling their feet, looking at each other. Suddenly a giant boulder comes flying over the crowd, landing on the woman and crushing her. Jesus looks towards the back of the crowd and says:

“Awww Mom!”

17. Jordan - April 3, 2006

He’d only need evasion to take no damage. IE would mean he takes half damage if he misses the save, none if he makes it. Which would make sense, he is jesus after all.

18. Retired Geezer - April 3, 2006

Hey, we got a Davealanche too!

19. Mrs. Peel - April 3, 2006

Ah, I knew I’d gotten the df of improved evasion wrong. I’ve played only a wizard and a paladin…I was thinking about a rogue if I ever do another campaign, because characters with ridiculously low dex get old.
