You Can Find Anything On The Intertubes September 30, 2007

I know what you are thinking.
You are thinking: “No, Michael, you are wrong. You can’t find anything. “
“For example,” you are thinking, “you could not find a site dedicated to something ridiculously obscure, like, say, oh I don’t know, lemme think of something, OK I got it — Australian pottery since the 1960s.”
YOU WOULD BE WRONG!
In the thread below, feel free to post your own link to an incredibly specialized website.
[Unless you are Retired Geezer, because nobody really cares about feral cats or sprinkler systems.]
Many interesting pieces can be viewed at Australian Pottery.

Hey, goofyhead. Superbowl is Feb 3, right?
Gonna book a ticket. We’re allowed to show up on Saturday, right?
Probably show up on Friday to clean the guns. Yeah. Do me a solid and email me your addr so I can pick a flophouse close to you, k?
God bless us every one.

Yes.

Yes, but you will have to help with the cooking in preparation for Super Bowl Sunday. This involves drinking beer and going out in the freezing cold to throw wood chunks into Mr. Lamm’s Heavy Metal Genuine Texas Barbecue™.

Done. I will email all announced attendees well in advance of the Super Bowl regarding nearby hotels, including where you can get a corporate discount if you mention my company’s name.
Oh cool, I love to cook. Can I make a pot of Dave’s Afterburner?
Light em up.
I can mention your company’s name too. I’m a customer.
I’ll tell em we’re pissed off.
…that’s throw chunks, people.
Sigh – my underlining of “throw” didn’t work.
Hopefully this annoys a lurker who told us she hates windmills a few weeks ago.
Windmill
This one. is for winston. He thinks we can’t bring the smarts
bonus, I know the Harry Enfield stuff is ancient, but I did the same thing this kid did when I was his age.
I totaly thought you googled, something more important, like retarded guys in NW Indiana.
How can you hate windmills?
This is my favorite link. Make sure you click on the hands and have your volume on. Yes it’s safe for work and kids love it.
click on the hands
GLAR!
How can you hate windmills?
Dunno. But here are some more.
Here is a little something to kill a few hours. I have not gotten past level 3 yet.
I don’t like the word rural.
Retarded guys in NW Indiana.?
ask around about my gunpowder experiences at 9.
legendary.
Hey Cath, I’m bookin the flight tonight.
I’ve long been a fan of whatbadgerseat.com

This doesn’t really fit into the “incredibly specialized” category, but it is pretty funny: Build Your Dream Home
Here’s mine.
Dave from Garfield Ridge would say “It’s Old”, but it’s still worthy of GLAR from time to time.

The not-so-greatest generation
My daughter recently read a book called “The Invention of Hugh Cabret.” It features an automaton that draws pictures. We found a site devoted to early 19th century fascination with automatons. She thought it would be a cool subject for a science fair project.

I just need to do this one to p0wn the recent comments.
Hugh = Hugo. Now I’m going to watch the news to see if my football picking suckitude is still slightly better than Dave’s.
Does Stripey Animals and Giraffe fights count?
As an aside I took my daughter to the zoo today. She was impressed with the giraffes as well as watching a chimp stand up to the glass where she was and start urinating on the glass. She thought that was hilarious. But she’s only 2.
I think it’s hilarious.
Well I’m certainly disappointed. My speed reading led me to believe I was about to wade into Australian poetry since the 1960s.
Well, you asked for it.
