I have to tell you about a true story of what happened to my friend’s mother’s nephew’s cousin’s wife’s brother’s college roommate’s “roommate”’s uncle’s father…I swear it’s true!
And don’t forget, the Jews/Freemasons/Christianists/Trilateral Commision are/is behind it all…I swear it’s true!
Hey, Chavez just lost his “make me a dictator for life and let me take all private property” referendum!
That is sweet news.
Here’s the AP story from a few minutes ago:
CARACAS, Venezuela – President Hugo Chavez suffered a stinging defeat Monday in a vote on constitutional changes that would have let him run for re-election indefinitely and solidify his bid to transform this major U.S. oil provider into a socialist state.
Voters defeated the sweeping measures by a vote of 51 percent to 49 percent, said Tibisay Lucena, chief of the National Electoral Council, with voter turnout just 56 percent.
She said that with 88 percent of the votes counted, the trend was irreversible.
Hey, Chavez just lost his “make me a dictator for life and let me take all private property” referendum!
I was completely, totally wrong about this. I thought for sure that he would run a dirty election. Maybe he thought he didn’t need to – he may be starting to believe his own spiel about how wonderful he is and how the people can’t do without him.
I give Chavez some credit. He’s publicly saying that he will respect the defeat. By all accounts so far, the election was relatively clean and calm for South America.

Again, I was totally wrong about that. I never gave him any credit in that regard. That speaks for much more integrity than I thought he had.
But for a few days I’ll be waiting for the other shoe to drop.
That speaks for much more integrity than I thought he had.
I think you were closer to the mark in #23. And i doubt it was a clean election, he didn’t allow any observers so you can be sure the vote was corrupted and yet he still lost. Which makes it even sweeter.
I try not to sensor myself in either life or on the net.
Granted, I’m a little more crude in commenting than I am in life, and when commenting I cant offer, the various gesticulations, or nods, or courteous semi-bows, but Mesa is telling the truth.
At least I agree with him. I pretty much speak in the same way in which I comment.
Not until the start of the year. It is just a small local vocational school that offers a culinary degree, and right now, I’m wondering which I should pick. If I should enter the general program (pots and pans) or the baking program (bread and pastries.) granted, I hate, FRIGGEN HATE! pastry cooking, but I love bread, and I remember the local bakery when I was growing up. I think it is important for every neighborhood to have both a local bakery, and a local butcher. Fact is, if I take the basic cooking (general culinary) program, I will likely work at creating a local deli, with in house specials (advance order only) and if I take the baking program, I will likely work at developing artisan breads for my local area.
BTW, thanks for including the rant part mesa. Keeps the wicked alive, ya’ prick
Oh, as for the hiatus, it’s been very educational so far, thank you for asking. It’s also (as I described to patty) been more than a bit of a mind fuck, because of various things that have occured, but I’m handling them a lot better than I expected, and if you ask patty, she will confirm that it really isn’t all that well. At least in terms of the particular mindfuck that I am talking about.
WP, I’ve actually been to court in Hammond. I just can’t remember why. I was clerking for a law firm while in school, and I remember going there on a case, but I can’t for the life of me remember what it was.
As for the program you choose, baking means you get up very early in the morning. Cooking means you work nights.
FWIW, Son Michael did cooking at the CIA and thought it was much more interesting than the baking program. But then, he has always loved to cook since he was a toddler.
Well, the thing is you get pigeonholed with the baking degree, and I’m more of an intuitive cook. “this doesn’t taste just right, toss in a bit of X” kinda guy.
Baking is like those ultra strict chemistry labs you had to perform, with the microgram measurement things.
I’m very firm on going through the course, and things aren’t bad, I just had one particular mindfuck (romantic related) but other than that, I’ve been having a good time. Though I feel kinda odd being the oldest guy in the room, and being asked about all these young womens romantic situations and how they should handle them.
I should probably just have them google “I break bitches” and then I wouldn’t have to play kindly old man to their retarded youthful cocksluttery. If I do that, however, I might accidently create a new form of youthful female cocksluttery, that might make me feel guilty, and be pilloried in history books for the next hundred years.

I have to admit, it has never even occurred to me for even a minute that I might make history for creating new forms of cocksluttery. I’d be happy if someone thought I had a working knowledge of existing forms of cocksluttery.
*sigh*
Good to hear from you, WP, and good luck with your studies.
Here’s a tip: get those comfortable latex cook clogs that you can clean in the dishwasher. (I forget the brand, but I can find out from Son Michael if you want). They will save you a lot of foot pain, stinky feet, and destroyed shoes.
I remember way back when I cooked for a living, they did not have these things. I was always throwing away rancid shoes.
Son Michael called me back. He says just go online and search for “kitchen clogs.” You’ll be looking at Birckenstock, Dansko, and Naot (an Israeli company, I am told). He just bought a pair of Naots.

Good find, Lipstick.
Funny stuff.
Reminds me of this time in Okinawa…
WHO CARES WHAT YOU THINK!!!!
I can say from first hand experience that Wickedpinto does indeed speak in person like he comments.
When is WP coming back?
Oh, that was quite amusing, Lipstick! Thanks for sharing that.
It’s old.

Sorry, hehe.

Uh-oh. I can think of one way it could be reversed.
noodz, plz

I am absolutely stunned. When the result is 49-51, that’s close enough for Chavez types to cheat, even without Jimmy Carter’s help.
I guess I’ll give Chavez credit where credit is due, although I seriously suspect he has other plans up his sleeve.
Are you two high?
Credit? Integrity?
He’s there for life. Trust me on this, I have a strong hunch.
PHAIL!

^don’t worry. Chavez will either have a judge rule out the vote or just declare some sort of “emergency”.
Oh, FYNQ

How goes your hiatus, WP?
I just talked to Wickedpinto on the phone. He talks like he comments, except he doesn’t use as many apostrophes.
we traced the call Patty Ann – its coming from upstairs!
GET OUT OF THE HOUSE! NOW!
Wicked! Wassup?
WP?!! Is it really you? We’ve missed you.
missed you too WP. Hope things are well, ya prevert.
GLAR, Amish!
noodz or gtfo
In honor of WP’s visit, I pwned Recent Comments!111!!1!!1
I have the impression that WP is going to have to call some 12-step counselor because he left that comment.
Glad you stopped by anyway, Wickedpinto.
Good one, Amish!
I think WP is doing some good things right now.
He left me a message saying something about enrolling in a culinary school program.
Very cool.
Then he went on a rant about Wolf Blitzer acting like an ass to John Bolten.

Thanks, WP, for the update. I’m sorry things are not the best. Let me know if I can help in any way.
And if you open a bakery or something, let us know. I, for one, would love to visit.
WP, I’ve actually been to court in Hammond. I just can’t remember why. I was clerking for a law firm while in school, and I remember going there on a case, but I can’t for the life of me remember what it was.

WP, Mr Kevlar is culinary trained. He always says baking and pastry is the most difficult. Hang in there bro.

Hey WP, good luck with all that. I want to make a joke about “meat tenderizing” here, but I don’t feel quite right about it.
I’m more of an intuitive cook. “this doesn’t taste just right, toss in a bit of X” kinda guy.
I hope that ‘X’ isnt a bit of semen.
I really dont want to walk into a joint and see the cook wearing an apron that says “Kiss the Bitch Breaker”
