I’m reminded of an old Army joke:
One of our Army guys was invited to the regimental mess of an English unit. He saw an ancient American Flag in the mess. His host explained, “We captured that at the Battle of Bunker Hill. You’ll notice we we’ve kept the flag.”
The American fires back, ” We kept the hill.”
