We’ve had 6 Aussie’s at one time or another. They are great dogs, very smart.
But.
They do need to be walked and have jobs.
Otherwise, they will make up their own job.
RG: I agree. I adopted one while in college. Problem was, when I got married, the Missus couldn’t deal with the allergy issue (but she had no problems with that Greyhound we used to have), so he lived with my parents.

I kinda want a ferret now. But I’m going to get an Australian shepherd, probably next summer, and I doubt they would get along.
