Here’s an interesting perspective.

Aikido is performed by blending with the motion of the attacker and redirecting the force of the attack rather than opposing it head-on. — Wikipedia

“I can’t fight for what’s right when I’m shackled to the governor’s seat.” — Palin

That is an interesting take on what she is up to, which is consistent with my own early diagnosis — it’s about her ability to send money in the right direction.  She is uniquely positioned to cash in on her star power, her status with the base as a “victim” of liberal elites and RINOs, and her uncanny ability to kick the Dems in the nuts with a cute wink.  But she can’t do it as the Governor of Alaska.

Time will tell.  Read this:

Thanks to Aardvarks & Asshats.  (Yes, Steamboat, I lurk at your blog.  I am very concerned about Space Twats and appreciate your persistent reporting  on  this  important national security issue.  That’s why you are on a pretty short IB blogroll.)

IB Factoid of the Day™: If you do a Google Images search right now on “Marie Antoinette,” you will find that IB is the top result.

Also, we just sucked in a new flag with a hit from the Island of Jersey.

I suppose that people in the Channel Islands are kinda bored. They might show up here.

We previously got the Isle of Man in the Irish Sea.

I’ve been to the island of Jersey and the island of Mann. Is that better than a jpeg of a flag on a website?

6. Michael - July 11, 2009

No.

7. BrewFan - July 11, 2009

Why in the world would anybody want to go to the Isle of Mann?

8. Vmaximus - July 11, 2009

No Isle of Mann.

Been through the Isle of Mull and stayed on the Isle of Iona.

“If ever there has been a time to gamble on a flimsy résumé, ever a time for the ultimate outsider, this might be it. “We have so little trust in the character of the people we elected that most of us wouldn’t invite them into our homes for dinner, let alone leave our children alone in their care,” writes talk-show host Glenn Beck in his book Glenn Beck’s Common Sense, a pox-on-all-their-houses fusillade at Washington. Dashed off in a fever of disillusionment with those in power, Beck’s book is selling like vampire lit, with more than 1 million copies in print. ”

The right needs to learn to fight. The left plays the dirty game.

True. For motorcyclists, the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy is like the Tour de France.

13. Michael - July 12, 2009

Unilike the Tour de France, a couple of hundred people have died in the Isle of Man event.
