2 of the killed and 4 of the wounded are from Wisconsin. One of them performed above and beyond the call of duty: “Army Pfc. Amber Bahr, 19, of Random Lake was shot in the back. She was released Friday night, a family spokeswoman said Saturday. Bahr was praised by her base’s commander Friday for putting a tourniquet onto another wounded soldier and carrying him out of harm’s way before discovering she was shot herself.”
Someone, of the many who triaged and treated the wounded that day, put a tourniquet on Sgt. Munley’s leg and saved her life. She would have bled to death.
Fort Hood or Health Care?
Makes me cry.
Still so proud of our military.
My blood donation is already at Ft. Hood.
Wish I could do more.
