OT: I have been monitoring the headlines on Hotair.com for a while now. Out of the 10 headlines, at least 3 to 4 are always about Sarah Palin, and most are carefully chosen negative stories about her. I am getting sick of Allah. The guy is more obsessed with Sarah than liberals.
Allah’s ‘betamale’ shtick is not a shtick. Can’t handle a strong, successful, attractive female. See Sullivan, Andrew.
What I don’t understand is why he always gets to post the Palin stories, is it written in his contract that way?

It’s too bad. I remember discovering Allahpundit way back when I first found out about blogs, and really enjoying his shtick. I loved that site. Then he shut down, I bounced around for awhile, and landed at AOSHQ.
I sometimes wonder. Is the constant Palin-bashing at HA the result of not Allah’s obsession, but someone else’s envy of Palin? IYKWIMAITYD.

What if Hot Air’s Palin coverage is calculated for maximum page views and commenting? Kinda like what Allah does with his posts about religiosity. It would make sense, Sarah is very popular and the drones go into full on protect-the-queen-mode over every slight (real or perceived).
Let AP take the hits, which he loves, and drive eyeballs to the page.
Allahpundit is one of those guys that some people just love, and some people can’t stand. I’m in the former category myself; I think he’s hilarious and smart.
I’m not sure what the Palinistas object to. Allahpundit didn’t create all the interest in Palin (much of which is bizarre or mean-spirited). But the interest is there, so he posts about her. I haven’t seen him write anything unfair about her.
He obviously rubs a lot of people the wrong way, though.
