The Most Egregious Classroom Abuse Since Curtis Got Slapped December 6, 2010

Unbelievable. A third-grade girl. Taped. To her desk.
You read that right.
What’s that? It was a six-inch piece of scotch tape across the wrist to remind the girl not to dig around in her desk while the teacher was talking?
Well, humiliation and emotional scaring are nothing to sneeze at.
Run that headline, Salt Lake Tribune!:
“Utah teacher cleared of neglect after taping student to desk”
The teacher was charged with “neglect?” I’d say she was pretty attentive to that little girl.
*wonders how Curtis is doing*
Holy crap! Torture by Scotch Tape!
I had a teacher punch me for smiling while he yelled at the kid next to me. I was trying not to smile, but apparently not successful.
A teacher gave some scotch to a third grade girl?
How come I never had teachers like that?
Lipstick has something in common with Curtis.
Wait, was the teacher white? Were you black at the time? Was the punch symbolic of decades of repression that will (figuratively) scar your million dollar face? If you get a free trip for four to Disneyland out of this, can I come?
We were all crackers in my school, teachers included. Boy, I missed out on the big payout!
