….I firmly believe that any man’s finest hours – his greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear – is that moment when he has worked his heart out in good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle – victorious.

Steelers fans are 'special'

Go Bears, go Cardinals!!!

Seriously, this is first time in my life I’ll be pulling for the Packers.

2. Retired Geezer - February 5, 2011

Silly Brewfan. The Super Bowl was last week.

(it had to be said)

3. Pupster - February 6, 2011

Oh, you were finished? Well, allow me to retort.

4. BrewFan - February 6, 2011

I knew I could win you over, pups

I have to admit that any team that has a polka written for them can’t be all bad.

7. kevlarchick - February 6, 2011

I am rooting for BEER this evening.

8. Lipstick - February 6, 2011

I have to say that Green Bay was the better team tonight. They deserve this win.

9. Tushar - February 6, 2011

Congrats, BrewFan!

10. BrewFan - February 6, 2011

Thanks, Lipstick and Tushar. A great game between two great teams representing the two best fan bases in the world! GO PACK GO!

A great game between two great teams representing the two best fan bases in the world!

So true. Congratulations. (But that two point conversion we had toward the end was pretty sweet!)

12. BrewFan - February 6, 2011

We were *very* nervous after that Lipstick! It was just a great game.

13. Lipstick - February 6, 2011

Heh, but you guys didn’t waver and it WAS a great game. I’m content.

14. Cathy - February 6, 2011

Great game. Didn’t really know who I was cheering for, but I’m not disappointed.

15. Russ from Winterset - February 7, 2011

I’m happy for Rodgers. He now has exactly as many Super Bowl rings as Brett “Media Favorite” Favre has, so it looks like all that “how will Green Bay ever replace Brett?” talk was just hot air.

16. Dave in Texas - February 7, 2011

Wow I was almost dead on, a 6 point margin with a 56 over/under.

I’m a genius.

Wow I was almost dead on, a 6 point margin with a 56 over/under.

I’m a genius.

Big deal.
We all know that you used your Time Masheen to watch the game last week.

18. daveintexas - February 7, 2011

It ain’t a time masheen, it’s a warshin masheen with a time travelin feature.

19. Pupster - February 7, 2011

Congratulations to The Green Bay Packers and their fans, especially Brewfan.

Your team showed a lot of heart and guts, and won with class. I’ve never seen a Superbowl with opposing teams helping each other up after a play, talking and laughing together and patting each other on the assback.

Well done. You deserve the trophy. Good game.
