We’ve only had one. It was a male and it was a pretty cool little thing. We gave it to a neighbor kid awhile ago and he seems to still be enjoying it. We didn’t like the smell. I don’t know if the males smell more than the females or not. I know he had a couple of scent glands. Our kids (of course) got tired of cleaning the cage. The people we got him from said, in their experience, the females were meaner. If this one was messed with he might nip, but he didn’t really latch on to anyone.
He didn’t really like the special dry chow we bought. It was a little like fixing a little meal for him every night and dealing with meal worms in the cold months. Our kids would catch a couple of grasshoppers a day during the summer months and he really liked those.
He was a neat little creature. So other than smell, just the daily care issue. If you go somewhere having someone feed and take him out and play with him is important. He was a pretty messy eater, which isn’t a big deal because he kept it in the cage, but he’d eat sticky stuff with his hands and then the bars of the cage would get sticky so that needed cleaning.
HAHAHAHAHA!
you people crazy
I like the way it is synchronized to the music.
Wait, what?
I’m too sexy for my whatevah!
Hey Skinbad, my friend’s kids want a sugar glider. Any advice/cautions?
Lips,

They can be noisy too. He would “bark” at night sometimes. He was more active at night.

The mosh pit at 0:00 is f*&%ing intense.
Thanks Skinbad — I’ve put that in an email to my friend. She’s pretty skeptical about the idea, especially since they already have three dogs.
