The first egg of the Raptor Resource Project Decorah Site hatched last night, and people are going ga-ga over him/her. They even have a Facebook page (no link, but if you’re on FB, search Raptor Resource Project). I’ll do like I did originally, and link the site in the post rather than put it on the sidebar and bog down this site.
http://www.ustream.tv/decoraheagles (check out the “24 hour collage” link on that page for video highlights of the first hatch)
.
How long until the Decorah Eaglet has his own Twitter feed?
.
In related news, we solved The Mystery of the Marauding Marsupial on Thursday night. Pics to follow soon.

“Ducks”? hahaha!
I saw the babies today. Precious.
Mother is so regal. I am hooked on this site.
Wow. Didn’t see babies, but I heard ‘em.
How cool. Last night Michael and I watched a show about Wolverines we ordered via Netflix. It was great how they used hidden cameras planted in locations in Michigan, Montana, Tahoe California, and Alaska showing us Wolverines. Kudos for technological advances.
Hidden cameras render all zoos obsolete.
FREE teh ANIMALS!
Right on, sister!

EAGLES ARE PEOPLE TOO!
I like all the food brought the nest. . . buffet city . . .rabbit, muskrat, crow, black birds(they were too close to the nest and Daddy Eagle taught them a lesson) and fish. The fish are probably from the fish hatchary just below the nest.
Yes they are addicting to watch.
Moses thinks they are CUTE!!!
