We’ve called ourselves fake internet friends, but what we have is not fake. We tease, clown, laugh, dump, whine, taunt, rib, discuss, and even sometimes fight with each other. Most eventually get over whatever keeps us away or distracted and then come back. We share good stuff and the tough stuff. Sometimes we share prayers or encouragement. And sometimes we grieve losses and cry together.
Is this love?
LOVE is patient, kind, not envious, not boasting nor proud. Love is not rude, self-seeking nor easily angered. Love does not keep a record of wrongs. Love does not enjoy evil. Instead it delights in the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. ..
Today an amazing abundance of the most gorgeous orchids arrived along with a thank-you note from our Rosetta and his lovely wife, thanking me for all I do and expressing their love for me. To be made to feel special and to have a place in this little family is an honor and also a lot of fun. I’m nobody. I’m a dork, truly unworthy, and totally okay with that reality. But true love does not judge worthiness. Love simply loves, and enjoys giving to another.
Yes. This is love. And I’ll graciously enjoy every bit of it.

And thanks to all y’all who keep showing up and being part of the Ace, IB, and Hostage et. al Family.

I think Mitchell just won the prize for “Worst Video Ever Posted At IB.” I mean, that video was so indescribably bad that — I don’t know what to say. It would look OK at The Hostages, it’s that bad.
I tip my hat to you, sir. That took some effort.
Mitchell, if you are feeling bad about that video, I would recommend a strict ascetic regimen consisting of a vegetarian diet, constant prayers of repentence, and daily self-flagellation for at least three months.
That might help you feel better about yourself.
I mean, jeebers, Mitchell has disgraced us. This site has consistently been an advocate of cutting edge popular music, like Barbie Girl. I can’t believe Mitchell just disrespected that.
