Here’s a song you’ve all heard before. It was first popularized by a group called Ace.
The lead singer was Paul Carrack, who later became part of Mike and the Mechanics, with Mike Rutherford (of Genesis).
While the lyrics seem to be from the point of view of a man confronting his unfaithful partner, lead singer Paul Carrack confirmed that he composed the song upon discovering that bassist Terry Comer had been secretly working with other bands.[2] Comer returned to Ace in time to play on this song.[2]
I think Paul Carrack is one of the best Vocalists in the last 30 years.

You might recognize Mike Rutherford, playing guitar in this video.
An unfaithful bass player.
…
Ok yeah, I believe that.
If you look closely, you can see Vladimir Putin in the audience at around :20 seconds.
It’s a well-known and established fact that bass players are the slutty hos of the music world.
Old musician’s proverb: If you meet a bass player, beat him. He will know the reason why.
If you meet a bass player, beat him. He will know the reason why.
