Drone Shot Down February 18, 2012

Here’s a pretty funny story.
An Animal Rights Group launched a drone to spy on a Pigeon Shoot.
It got shot down by person or persons unknown.
The comments are hilarious.

Reminds me of the video game, Half-Life 2.
Those things were everywhere, spying on people.
PULL! BANG!! Skeet shooting for the 21st century.
If it were shot, wouldn’t it have come down in pieces? Just watched that crappy video, which shows nothing of the kind. These activists accidentally crash-landed it themselves and are trying to say it was shot down.
bird shot would have obliterated it.
Also, referring to the place holding the shoot as a ‘former slave holder,’ is typical idiotic lefty. Swing whatever brush you’ve got even if there’s no paint on it.
Wow, those people at the shooting club must be pretty old, huh?
At close range it would have been shredded by bird shot (20-30 yards), but that’s not what the idiots say happened. They claim that someone shot the drone down with a single shot from a “small caliber” rifle (a .22 I suppose). Do these people realize what kind of marksmanship it would take to hit a hovering target at long range with an ordinary .22?
I agree with humpy. The idiots crashed their own bird so that they could claim it was shot down. They’ll probably claim that the reason that no bullet holes will be found in the casing is that the crash destroyed the evidence.
