It appears to be a phenomenon that has emerged in the last 20 years, for which I have no explanation, but you see it all over Asia.

And what’s so wrong about asian girls with red hair?

No matter how many times I watch it, I always think the same thing about the first few notes of the Star Wars Ep IV opening title. The first note always convinces me that it will be in a higher key.
Maybe now we’ll start seeing more Chinese guys named Rusty.
I would imagine that, in Asia, changing your hair color is statement of individuality. Red goes better with their complexion that blond.
