Brewfan will probably like this newer Christmas song because it shows people drinking beer.
They received no funding for recording it or making the video which was filmed at a museum in Shropshire, UK. Many of the characters in the video are museum staff, I actually make a cameo appearance in the beginning*.
You can get more information at the Florin Street Band website.
*not really
It might snow here for Christmas.
How are things in your town.
It actually might snow here tomorrow. How weird is that?
I love this song.
Merry Christmas you goobers.
Might snow here too!
Ima gonna heat up the hot tub. A good soak will help me fall asleep during the Christmas Eve service. I just need an usher to kick me awake for the traditional Lutheran finale, which is turning off the sanctuary lights, distribution of candles, and the singing of “Silent Night.”
(Holding up your Zippo lighter and swaying like a Baptist is not acceptable.)
Best part of “Silent Night” is that everybody tends to ignore the music and do a musical swoop at “sleep in heavenly peeeeeeace.” (It’s technically called a glissando, but the sheet music does not actually call for one). This drove our choir director (Dr. Foelber) nuts when I was in a college, and he wouldn’t let his choir do it. He was correct that the swooping degrades the hymn and you should just hit the two notes, but now I swoop the “peace” with everyone else.

How about using the app on my iPhone that has the lighter animation?
Peeeeeeeee-aaaaaaaaaaaace!
