“two young suspects dressed in white trousers and white jackets”

I’m just going to go out on a limb here. I don’t really know, but I’m guessing that this is a BBC code phrase for the fact that the two young suspects are members of some ethnic minority group.

Maybe it was Edgar and Johnny Winter. Were they singing Free Ride when they got on the train?

Seriously – its a shame we took Slobo out. He knew the score it seems.

Some trendy eateries have their employees dres in unique garb.

Yeah. That’s who it was. Chefs!

6. eh - April 30, 2007

Grounds for further speculation: it seems it is now presumed the confrontation grew out of the fact that Ms Russo (the dead woman) suspected the two of trying to pick her pocket.

7. eh - April 30, 2007

It seems the two arrested are ethnic Romanians (not a total surprise after the pickpocketing rumor), although this might be hard to tell just from fotos/video. A babelfish xlation of a news story:

“The two assassins of the metropolitan have been found by police officers in Tolentino (Macerata). They are Romanian, originally from the zone of Bucharest: largest Doina Matei is called and has 21 years. The other, I.C., are under-age. They were found to Tolentino, where the mother of one of the two women lives, and were accommodated from an Argentine, than ago the laborer in the citizen. In past also they had worked in a night, always in the area of Macerata.”

Perhaps they were Nehru jackets? I hear they’re making a comeback.

Michael, can you still fit in yours?

9. Enas Yorl - April 30, 2007

10. Bill O 'Reilly - April 30, 2007

Whats wrong with nehru jackets? i loved those things.

Coincidentally im listening to some Indian music right now. Ustad V. Khan is the fellows name. Its a live recording. Have you ever listened to this stuff? How the hell does the crowd know when to clap?

In the first track(30 min. long) he hit the name note about a hundred and fifty times in a row. The crowd clapped on the 60th and lets say the 110th time he hit the same note – why? I dont get it.

I would probably just be in the back row screaming “KHAAAAAN!” every few minutes to show my approval. i’d proably start screaming for them to play “I Feel For You” right before they threw me out.

11. Dave in Texas - April 30, 2007

Oh goodness, I didn’t mean to imply there was anything wrong with them.

I was merely pointing out I was too young to have owned one, but other contributors here were well within that age bracket.

I always have to laugh when those silly Americans use the word Euro Trash, those fools don’t now there history. Here in Europe we put out the trash along time ago, and we dumped it in the new world , the USA, so your the Euro Trash.

About this girl, Vanessa Russo, RIP girl, nobody deserve this.

And those romanian bastards, stay in your own country you focking parasits, your like those polish thieves, not wanted in the rest of EU.

36. Mr Minority - July 10, 2008

those fools don’t now there history.
…the USA, so your the Euro Trash.

And it appears that this Euro Trash doesn’t know his English: It’s “their” not “there”. And it’s “you’re” (a contraction of “you are”) instead of “your”.

Here in Europe we put out the trash along time ago….

How are all those rioting “youths” working out for you guys over there, eh?

37. geoff - July 10, 2008

I always have to laugh when those silly Americans use the word Euro Trash, those fools don’t now there history.

I always have to laugh when those silly Euro-trash types start quoting history as if it excuses their lameness in the present.

38. Dave in Texas - July 10, 2008

I always have to laugh when those silly Americans use the word Euro Trash, those fools don’t now there history.

Oh. You mean that history where Europeans from England, Spain and France claimed this country, and then we took it from them when they pissed us off? That history?

39. eddiebear - July 10, 2008

ANd the Euros love soccer.

’nuff said

40. eddiebear - July 10, 2008

Yeah. The same Euros who let a bunch of backwards plowpushers beat them twice on THEIR HOME TURF? Those Euros?

41. composmentis - July 10, 2008

The same ilk who fight like women in a war until they tire and have to have the trash come to their rescue.

42. Mr Minority - July 10, 2008

Hey, I will stick up for those Euros that still are cool, gracious, and thank Americans for the sacrifices we made to preserve their countries.

But the uppity, surrendering, sanctimonious Euro Trash can FOAD as far as I am concerned.

43. Muslihoon - July 10, 2008

The Europeans, of all people, should not bring up history to make a point.

History does nothing but condemn the Europeans as heartless, genocidal, violence-mongering imperialists.

44. Muslihoon - July 10, 2008

And without the “trash” on these blessed shores, Signore Giuseppe would be Herr Josef today.

46. Florin - November 15, 2008

So, monseur…Giuseppe. You have right, romanians are not so loved into UE, not so good at manners but a little remark … that make me to post here, which is not so nicefor some…I addmit. Italians and Romanians are somehow related, but i guess that History part is not in yours and much others data base to know that. Due to that I can say for sure that every italian (there are many) that I meet in Romania it is EXACTLY with the same temper, logic, bad habbits, noisy like an romanian is(maybe much more noisy and agitated). The difference is that we, Romanians was many centuries the nation who keep trought war(Turks,russians,..) an equilibrium for Western europe to evolve like it is now. So every westernesse who think that only them deserve a chance, for me is much more ….any way…SO?
