Business Time October 28, 2007

Posted by Michael in Man Laws.

In a thread below, Sobek just called my attention to the Sixth Major Publishing Event In Human History. (You have to read the threads to get that joke.)

This video is hilarious. Or tragic. Maybe both.

1. Sobek - October 28, 2007

I just found out about these guys from Tatooed Intellectual, and holy crap are they funny. Get on YouTube and run searches for If You’re Into It, Something for the Ladies, the Humans are Dead, You Think About It, and Jenny.

You just can’t go wrong.

Mrs. Peel especially needs to watch The Humans are Dead. Binary solo!!!

2. lauraw - October 28, 2007

I just posted it, too.

3. Lipstick - October 29, 2007

Now this tune is in my head.

I’m going around the house singing it. Mr. LS hasn’t noticed yet cause he’s building a website.

4. bartwing plover - October 29, 2007

Put this tune in your head.

It’s sad because both of these guys are deaded. 😦

I’d like to say it’s a nice duet. I’d like to, but I can’t. 😦

5. Lipstick - October 29, 2007

Yeah, the duet thing doesn’t work, but it’s crazy wild seeing the two of them up there!

6. Cathy - October 29, 2007

No disrespect to either singer. I agree with LS. It doesn’t work.

They didn’t seem to want to sing with one another.
No attempt to blend voices or harmonize.

It was more like a duel than a duet.

7. lauraw - October 29, 2007

Hey Cathy; health/ supplements question for you.

It’s Autumn, which means the air is dry and I’m getting back my little spot of eczema.

Slathering on the Eucerin helps but I was wondering if you knew of any preventative action I could take?
The supplements I currently take are : fish oil, flaxseed oil, vitamin A & D, and zinc. But not religiously each and every day.

Occasionally I’ll have a Citri-cal, too.

8. Dave in Texas - October 29, 2007

rub some dirt on it.

9. Retired Geezer - October 29, 2007

Let Michael kiss it and make it better.

(Cathy made him read The Book… twice).

10. lauraw - October 29, 2007

Let Michael kiss it and make it better.

I’m gonna try the dirt thing first.

11. Cathy - October 29, 2007

Yea — Dave is right. Try the dirt thing.

12. Cathy - October 29, 2007

Sorry no answer off the top of my head.I’ll get back with you on it.

Geez,I was just thinking through my eczema concerns a few days ago and wondering about an internal prevention.

I get a little inflammation at the neck my scalp periodically, but daughter gets it bad and I’m bent on getting to the source.

Need time.

13. Cathy - October 29, 2007

I’ve got an idea, Lauraw, but I think I prefer to email you about it.

14. Dave in Texas - October 29, 2007

I have a boo boo finger.

*holds it out for Mike*

be gentle.

15. Retired Geezer - October 29, 2007

OK, here’s a serious suggestion:

Zim’s Crack Cream.

16. lauraw - October 29, 2007

That would be great, thanks Cathy!

17. wiserbud - October 29, 2007

Let Michael kiss it and make it better.

I recently caught my…ummm…”self” in my zipper. I was wondering if Michael might….ummmm..

Ya know, never mind. Let’s just forget I said anything, ‘k?

18. geoff - October 29, 2007

I recently caught my…ummm…”self” in my zipper

That’s the 3rd time this week. One might almost suspect . . .

19. wiserbud - October 29, 2007

One might almost suspect . . .

Yeah. I was trying to keep it sort of on the down-low, but you’ve figured it out.

I’m huge.

20. Bart - October 29, 2007

Lose the flaxseed oil. Fish oil will suffice.

21. max - November 1, 2007

Has everyone but me seen Numa Numa before:

22. Michael - November 1, 2007

Max, I must say, I am honored to make the acquaintance of the very last internet-enabled person on the planet to see Numa Numa. You, sir, may actually have a life. I salute you.

23. max - November 1, 2007

Actually, I don’t have a life.

As proof, (i) I actually saw Numa Numa quite a while back, but was reminded of it by this post for some reason and didn’t remember seeing it linked here (and it seemed to be made for this place) and (ii) having listened to it again, I have now ordered the CD by The O Zone which has the ‘Numa Numa’ song.

24. Wacky Spider Sex « Innocent Bystanders - December 29, 2008

[…] hours!!! Dang, I do not want to be that quick on my feet.  I just want 60 seconds of Business Time. Meanwhile, mature jumping spiders sport crucial glowing patches on their bodies to lure in mates, […]
