Honestly, Who Hasn’t Enjoyed A Champagne Soaked Romp With A Bunch Of Other Guys In Their Underwear? June 30, 2008

Well, the Euro 2008 “Football” tournament is over, and Spain defeated Germany in a high scoring 1-0 match. Honestly, I could care less about who won the tournament, given that: a) It was soccer, and b) It was soccer.

But, I have to give the Spanish “football” team major props for celebrating in a way that would put any American sports team to shame. And instead of going the lowbrow route like American teams and downing cans of Bud Light or Miller Lite, these fellas soaked their nearly naked bodies with champagne and only champagne.

Well, now I know why my wife suddenly had an interest in Spanish “football”.

*grabs knee and throws self on ground pretending to be hurt*

I love the banner for Dexter under the monitor in some of that video, there’s just something odd about a monitor playing a bunch of soccer players dancing around in their underpants with a banner for a show about a serial killer.

I loved the Tim McCarver reference.

Seriously, when the Cardinals won the WS in 2006, the best locker room coverage came from Jim Hayes of Fox Sports Midwest getting doused by a Yadier Molina who was so drunk, he forgot how to speak English.

Erm… thirsty after physical exertion, rather wear Champagne and drink water.

Bravo Espana! Great party animals.

Barcelona, pronounced Barthelona, IMHO is one of the best party places in the world. Crazy-fun-independent people. Beautiful architecture. Innovative art and fashion. Awesome food. Good mix of the old-classic and innovative-modern. Good-looking people.

Cute butts too! Thanks Eddie.
