Random thingy, after haging with my family I told a female friend of mine about the whole women like fat men thing.

She answered, “women can see the man for who he is, dipshit” or something like that.

Maybe women are smarter than men.

cuz I just loves me some juggies.

In generaly I’m not a believer in the suffering artist bullshit.

But, in the same link I liked trillion times or so, I see.

Jeff Buckley was afraid of something, and that gave him the power to do such a great job of that song.

There is SOMETHING! In that friggen guys head.

I don’t know what, but you hear it in the song, and you see it in this performance.

a shame.

WOW!!!

Just WOW!!

I always thought that “Edie (ciao baby)” was a ballad to an unknown woman, I knew the warhol connection, but I always thought it was a love song.

It’s a FUCKING EULOGY!!

And a judgemental one at that!!!

WOW!

4. Wickedpinto - September 22, 2008

It’s not “and the wind carressed your cheek” as I always thought.

It’s “and we carressed your cheek, edie.”

It was an expression of goodbye, not of beauty.

WOW!!!

Still a beautiful song, but only now it’s sad, not loving.

WOW!!!

5. Wickedpinto - September 22, 2008

Or rather,

It’s not a serenade, it’s a dirge.

6. Wickedpinto - September 22, 2008

this is the song I’m talking about. and this is the reference, with links, follow them if you like the song, that made me completely change my understanding of the song.

7. Wickedpinto - September 22, 2008

dude still has amazing hair.

8. Wickedpinto - September 22, 2008

random thing.

Next time I meet anyone of you dorks.

Remind me of the “geek check” thing that my audiophile friends and I described.

9. lauraw - September 22, 2008

I’m pretty sure Ratzenberger passed an edict concerning those short, shiny rubber nun habits. That shit was getting out of hand.

Attendance was up, though.

Oh, and I have a question for everybody; one of Ace’s friends can’t post comments to AOSHQ from his Blackberry. Does anybody else have a Blackberry here, and is that your experience as well?

11. geoff - September 22, 2008

I haven’t been able to get on Ace’s (or any mu.nu domain) for a couple of days. I figured Pixy tripped over the server cord, but maybe it’s just me. Anybody else unable to go there?

12. Dave in Texas - September 22, 2008

I am not unable to go there.

heh

13. geoff - September 22, 2008

WTH? I was messing with computer upgrades on Saturday and Sunday, but I don’t think anything I did would have blocked the mu.nu sites. Just tried IE, and it’s blocked too.

Ticks me off – I was a might peeved over Ace’s treatment of Balrog, and was building up a full head of steam over it. And then I couldn’t get on anymore.

14. Dave in Texas - September 22, 2008

No idear. You gettin a “page not found” or something else?

15. lauraw - September 22, 2008

I’m not having any problems on either of my computers. On Firefox.

16. Sobek - September 22, 2008

Hey Dave, if you liked the post, you know how to spread the love.

17. Michael - September 22, 2008

Laura, I can post with my Blackberry at AOSHQ. Tell Paulitics he can’t skip entering an email address.

And I QUOTE. “Police told her to tone it down after construction workers complained.”

19. Dave in Texas - September 22, 2008

dang Sobek, long day, blah blah. linked in the headlines

20. Mrs. Peel - September 22, 2008

*is inexplicably reminded of the Simpsons episode in which Homer takes Bart to a factory in which the workers not only work hard, they also play hard*
