Is that the tachyon II?

Clearly a man of diverse taste.

2. Wickedpinto - December 31, 2008

actually no way in hell that the elephant can be tachyon II.

More Likely Neutronium one.

3. mesablue - December 31, 2008

Was This On A Business Trip?

Nope, last year at the IBSBP.

4. PattyAnn - December 31, 2008

I don’t want to see that. But I would like to see Michael do the *Batusi*

5. mesablue - December 31, 2008

Believe me, it is not smart to get an elephant drunk.

Unless you have some of these — http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_pig

6. eddiebear - December 31, 2008

I think I centered it as well.

7. BrewFan - December 31, 2008

What happened to the clarinets on his helmet/mask?

8. Wickedpinto - December 31, 2008

I think I centered it as well.

Effing HILARIOUS!!!

9. lauraw - December 31, 2008

CAUTION: THREADJACK IN PROGRESS

Thought this was nifty. Hubby brought it to my attention after work today. Actually dragged me upstairs to watch it NOW

NOW, woman!

Can’t blame him too much. It’s pretty awesome.

10. Sobek - December 31, 2008

You know who makes a good burger? Burger King does. That is all.

11. blackiswhite1 - December 31, 2008

You know who makes a good burger?

Rally’s. And we don’t have one here in Washingtonistan.

12. Michael - December 31, 2008

Rally’s is good?

There is a Rally’s in Columbus, but I don’t recall ever eating there. I just remember noticing it next to the Columbus Gold strip club at the major intersection of Bethel and Sawmill.

13. eddiebear - December 31, 2008

Rally’s kicks ass.

14. mesablue - December 31, 2008

Happy New Year, IB folks.

Going out to do my best to find some pink elephants.

Cheers!!!

15. Lipstick - December 31, 2008

I won’t be around for the next couple of weeks — off on a cruise. There are great bargains out there now and we got a half price deal that was impossible to pass up.

G’day mates!

16. blackiswhite1 - December 31, 2008

Rally’s: cheap, still get tomato and lettuce, and the fries are teh awesome!

17. nicedeb - January 1, 2009

Haaaaappy New Year Bystanders!

18. Wickedpinto - January 1, 2009

happy new year, hope I’m not spoiling it for the westcoasters, but the world does not come to an end.

19. Muslihoon - January 1, 2009

Happy new year!

20. Michael - January 1, 2009

We had a party here for our church, and the last of the guests just left.

So I’m not nervous any more. I don’t have to be social any more.

Now, it’s just Cathy, dogs, Daughter Michael, and Daughter Michael’s BF, who is sick in bed so he doesn’t matter.

No problem. I can deal with dogs and family drama.

It is an effort for me to be social in large groups. I’m not really bad at this, but it’s like a learned skill that does not come naturally to me. It takes work. I gotta tell myself — smile, shake hands with men, hug women, chat about stuff, be friendly.

I’m tired.

I had this really cool conversation with Daughter Michael tonight. Nothing important, just talking about stuff like spicy versions of Thai food and this smart black guy she knew in college who was a really good friend.

A conversation like that with your daughter is priceless.

Anyway,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

21. Michael - January 1, 2009

There are not really all that many important relationships in life. In order of priority, it boils down to:

1. God/Man
2. Mother/Son
3. Father/Daughter
4. Brother/Sister
5. A good dog/schooled according to the Cesar Milan system
6. Other humans
7. Respecting other species, like trying to understand spider sex
8. The Hostages

22. Wickedpinto - January 1, 2009

I think you have the categorization for the hostages sideways.

23. Wickedpinto - January 1, 2009

and you edited as I commented.

24. Michael - January 1, 2009

Yes, WP, but thanks for the advice anyway.

25. Wickedpinto - January 1, 2009

Happy new year michael.

26. Michael - January 1, 2009

#21 has got to be the funniest fucking thing I’ve done in a long time, and it’s getting wasted in the middle of the night.

27. Michael - January 1, 2009

Happy New Year WP.

28. Wickedpinto - January 1, 2009

how about “plants” being above “the hostages” might also include “pretty rocks.”

29. Wickedpinto - January 1, 2009

followed by “ugly rocks”

30. Wickedpinto - January 1, 2009

awww!

Michael is the elephants tachyon!

31. Mrs. Peel - January 1, 2009

I’d put father/daughter ahead of mother/son, but then, I don’t have a brother.

32. eddiebear - January 1, 2009

Happy new year, everyone!

33. Dave in Texas - January 1, 2009

Lauraw, that was an awesome threadjack.

Thanks!

34. Wickedpinto - January 1, 2009

siblings are a strange lovingly parasitic group of love and cruelty.

35. lauraw - January 2, 2009

Thanks Dave! It was an awesome video, but the threadjack failed miserably.

Have fun on your cruise Lipstick!
Bring back pics.

36. Sobek - January 2, 2009

I managed to threadjack LauraW’s threadjack with my hamburger comment.

I’ve never been so happy in my entire life.

37. Cathy - January 2, 2009

7. Respecting other species, like trying to understand spider sex

Is this the one where I fit in, Michael?

38. doc - January 2, 2009

guess husband/wife didn’t make Michael’s list. Hmm.

39. Michael - January 2, 2009

Oops.

40. Wickedpinto - January 6, 2009

Rally’s actually has a pretty good burger, it’s like the wendy’s $.99 menu, only with meat on the burger.

You can get a burger fries and a drink for less than 3 bucks, or depending on the “special” you can get 2 burgers, a fries and a drink for less than 3 bucks.

Checkers tried direct competition, but they went the route of classic burgers, so you pay a bit more at checkers (and funny thing is that what fucks checkers up is they don’t put enough letuce onion or tomatoes on their burgers, they just use the burger meat)

Frankly, I’d rather make my way to Schoops every once in a while and get a burger you have to eat with a knife and fork. (schoops is awesome, I think it’s mostly regional) Rally’s knows who they are, Schoops knows who they are, same with in and out, they know who they are.

41. Wickedpinto - January 6, 2009

and they are NUMMY!
