Looking Forward to the IBMMP&GS April 2, 2009

Posted by Michael in News.

I sure hope people enjoy my collection of turtle figures (Mrs. Peel and I have this in common).

I have always liked turtles; I don’t know why. Maybe because I had a pet turtle when I was a kid.  His name was Sylvester.  He died.

I also hope people enjoy relaxing around my pool.  Looks like we’re going to have nice weather this weekend.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Mmm, the Wild Kingdom.

2. Mrs. Peel - April 2, 2009

Dude, you and I have that in common, not you and the Weas.

Man, it is just burn after burn for me today. I need that guy in Sinistar’s graphic to follow me around going “OH SNAP!”

Let me assure you all that nobody will get eaten at the IBMMP&GS if they (1) bring Snickerdoodles, (2) are Lutheran, (3) have Amish ancestors *Michael glances at Lipstick*, or (4) Cathy tells me I have to behave myself.

Hah! I actually googled Weasel’s site looking for her post on turtle figures. Couldn’t find it, but I still thought it was her. I really like that post.

Well, I did write it for Weasel and referenced her in the post, so I can see why you would mentally “misfile” it.

Making snickerdoodles right now! I’m going to be up late. Y’all bettah recognize.

mmm, cinnamony goodness — your house must smell so good right now Peel.

I’m throwing the last few things in the suitcase — yippee!

I was talking to my FedEx driver yesterday afternoon about how nasty snapping turtles are. He told me his family used to keep about fifteen giant snapping turtles in a pen when he was a kid. They made them into turtle soup.

I’ve never had turtle soup. Is it any good?

8. The Snapping Turtle - April 3, 2009

God no! It’s awful. Bitter, and full of cholesterol!
