Sunny, still about 4-5 inches of this stuff on the ground.

I wonder why this dog wandered out but changed his mind and came back?

You should see all the deer tracks around my place.

Heh. Our dogs love the snow. They romp in it, plow it with their snoots, roll around in it, and eat it. The fresh white blanket effect doesn’t last long in our yard.

3. Hotspur - February 24, 2010

I always prayed for snow on opening day of deer season. (November 15 here in Michigan.)

Moses is not a fan of snow in the yard. Big wuss.

He did like watching it fall, he’s stand out in that on the deck.

Oh, my dogs LOVE snow. Now rain … that’s another story.

Fresh snow here in Mass today, too. I can see where the deer passed through the yard this morning. And where I need to go squirell hunting (my RV – he better not have found a way in). No sign of the fishercat, though (which is a good thing).

My dogs love the fresh snow – they romp in it too.

My dog loves the snow too. She gets her head down in there and pulls up all kinds of stuff. It’s funnier when the snow is up to her shoulders and she has to hop around. She’s a good sport.

We are getting lake effect snow today. Big honkin’ snowflakes! Buddy loves snow also.

I missed the scout snow cave camp last weekend. We had funeral duties for my wife’s uncle. That broke my streak. Eight(?) years in a row. I think. Somehow, I think I’ll be OK.

Hey Dave, I just found out that concealed carry in your car (or going directly to your car) is legal in Texas without a permit. The law changed in 2007 to completely eliminate the “traveling” requirement.

Peaches and Rosie LOOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEE the stuff!

11. Cathy - February 24, 2010

Btw — we only got virga.

12. skinbad - February 24, 2010

I’ll bet it wasn’t easy to find a virga in Texas.

13. doc - February 24, 2010

I thought she meant viagra – hence the dearth of posting by Michael (btw the 4 hour thing is a guideline – don’t be a pansy)

14. joe buzz - February 24, 2010

no mystery in the pic. The dog in question went out to pee on the shadow of the tree…

Yeah, I don’t have to imagine it either. It’s cold.

16. Dave in Texas - February 24, 2010

joe, no yellow snow out there.

17. skinbad - February 24, 2010

And I thought “sack up” was a euphemism.
