Lin Yu Chun got famous in Taiwan with this awesome performance, in case you missed it:
The stuff that kid can do with his voice, and maintain near perfect pitch, is just awesome.
Le commentaire de la pitié.
I was going to say that Geoff would kick your butt for patronizing that Chinese show, but the character for “love” is really crowded, meaning they use traditional characters, which means it’s probably non-PRC Chinese.
So you’re safe.
For now.
Yu Chun is probably thinking to himself, “Really? They’re matching my voice up with… this? Man, these ‘mei gwo run’ are strange.”
Oops. The above was me. I forgot to put on my sockpuppet, and accidentally posted “au naturelle”. How embarrassing.
Am I missing something? Was there a world-wide memo telling us all to pretend that Shatner is awesome, just as a big prank?
My entire life has been one slow, plodding progression from absolutely despising William Shatner to slightly appreciating him.
I feel the reverse will be true for this Lin Yu Chun.
I’m not sure how real this is, but apparently some Canadians want Shatner to be their Governor General (whatever that is):

Probably more of an internet meme than a real phenomenon–but, hey, they are Canadians, who knows what they are actually thinking?
Oh, and I think I like the Dan Band’s version of the song better 🙂
