Mrs. Skinny said this was good–so you better watch it.

I woke Mrs. Geezer up to watch this.

She was glad I did.

The skates on the feet and knees seem to be in-line but the ones on his elbows look like regular (updated for sure) skates which he uses for control while turning.
Really good video.
I regular skated as a kid (the kind that you attached to your shoes with a key!
But I speed skated on ice from age 6 til I was over 50 and thought a fall might break me.
Art used to say: Kids do the craziest things!

Saw this or sumpin like it awhile back.

Great scenery. Waterfalls. Sheer rock drop-offs.

Got me wondering about the dude’s brakes.

Morning, Mrs. Geezer!!! You too Geez!

I think it would be hard to hold his head up to see, while laying on his stomach.

I can only imagine what the motorcyclists thought when he zoomed around them.

I’d almost think that that setup would give you a LOT of very precise control, once you got the hang of it. Your center of gravity is low and centered (roughly) around four points of contact with the road (six, when his toes were down).

I would try this. I wouldn’t jump into a downhill Pike’s Peak run right away, but I would give that a whirl on a few of the hills around here to try it out.

I’m sure those motorcyclists needed a new pair of pants, though. Especially the one coming uphill around a blind corner with this guy right at the edge of the median. Seeing a dude sprawled out on the pavement zipping by probably hits close to home for a biker.
