Never Thought I’d See This Headline from the MSM September 24, 2012

Posted by geoff in News.

You go, CBS:

For Obama, diplomacy gets back seat to campaign

…unlike years past, the president will not be sitting down with any of the more than 120 world leaders who are here in New York.

Simply put, the White House is prioritizing the president’s reelection effort. Most heads of state will be here all week, but the president will be in New York less than 24 hours, and even then will spend most of his time away from this conference.

After landing in New York Monday afternoon, the president headed straight for a sit-down — not with visiting leaders, but with the ladies of “The View,” for an interview to air tomorrow.

like he gave a fuck about them before worrying about his impending loss

4. OBF - September 24, 2012

We live in one of the reddest states in the country. No one even bothers to buy any ad time. That puts me at a disadvantage as to what the rest of the nation is doing. Last week Mrs OBF and I were in Virginia Beach. We heard all sorts of political ads but it seemed like they were 5 to 1 for Obama.

I really, really, really hope the dude looses. What is going on in other parts of the country? Can someone clue me in?

Yeah, me too, but I can’t help wondering why Romney even wants to be President at a time like this. Talk about being set up for failure…

What is going on in other parts of the country?

I wish I knew. I live in the liberal echo chamber of the SF Bay Area, and my social and family life reflect that.

I’m in Ohio, and my phone rings off the hook nightly with political calls. I don’t answer anymore. And I watch no TV, so I can’t report anything. I know either Rombley or Obammy are in state at least once a week.

Words fail me about TFG’s behavior. I shake my head in astonishment. God I pray he loses, and loses big, but I have little confidence.

Even more tone deaf was his speech today. On Yom Kippur, the highest of Jewish holidays.
