The Congressional Budget Office Stops Burying the Lede March 1, 2014

Looking over the offerings at the Congressional Budget Office today, I was struck by the cover page of the report titled “The Slow Recovery of the Labor Market,” published just this last month.

CBO Report Cover Page

Yeah, that’s the cover page. It’s almost like the CBO can’t live with obscuring the pitiable economic efforts of the administration anymore.

I’m no Bible scholar but the following passage came to mind while viewing that graph and title: “And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.” Acts 9:18

I’m not sure about the Baptism part but the rest surely applies.

Yup, even the CBO can’t fail to notice this. And now we are looking at the possibility that the inexorable labor market realities will lead to a “wave election” against the Democrats.

Too dang bad that nobody saw this coming, even before Obama was reelected.

Ahem.

I just find it hard to believe that these big-name vineyards use them. Makes me want to think there’s something to it. Something we don’t understand? I don’t know. Things like this are so weird.
