Holy Moly, that is a truly incredible story, geoff!

The headline conjures up images of a head on one side of the dashboard with the child’s body remaining in a car seat. The injury, called an atlanto occipital disassociation, is severe and usually results in death. The head from all outward appearances is attached to the body.

The fact that he survived and was successfully underwent surgery is remarkable. And that makes me say Holy Toledo!

(In 25 years of combined training and practice I’ve never seen one except on exams)
