At Last – Useful Origami! January 31, 2016

Posted by geoff in News.

Perhaps the time of real-life books is nearing its end (I pray not), but for you bitter clingers out there who still love the feel and smell of physical books, this may be useful:

Forget dog-earing and bookmarks that fall, make your own easy origami bookmark instead!

Neaat! Better than my “rip some random paper” method of making a bookmark.

I’m using a shit-ton of books these days, but never have this problem with my bookmarks (usually paper strips ripped from a 3×5 index card) just flying out and disappearing. Mine seem to stay wedged between the pages where I leave them. How does this failure happen to this guy? Does he live in a wind tunnel? Has he never used a paperclip? Paperclips work too.

Yeah, so I made two of these origami things so I can show off at school

I hate loaning a book out and getting it back all dog-eared.

I’m with Jimbro and his pragmatic method.
