The method all depends on whether you are north of the Equator or south of it.

v=QbpfjM0NP7Q shows how it works. But it also shows a better way of performing the trick. The puzzle pieces are dumped out, instead of using video cuts to flip the trick piece. Also, the puzzle isn’t completely reassembled until all three pieces are removed, so the grid isn’t obviously misaligned.
