A little-known benefit of being older than 48: you might have enhanced immunity to the flu!

As it turned out, the researchers found that people born before 1968 were more likely to be exposed to the group 1 viruses H1N1 or H2N2 and were less likely to suffer or die from infections with the group 1 virus H5N1 infections later in life. In 1968, there was an influenza pandemic that had a multinational impact.

I’m so safe it makes me sad.

Yeah. And we sucked on our kid sister’s pacifiers, drank from the garden hose, shared a wad of gum, picked our noses, took a bath once a week, and were generally filthy rug-rats without fear of condemnation.
