Y’all may remember last year when I posted videos from the Eurovision singing contest, which involved that bearded transvestite dude with the pretty decent voice (his name escapes me and I don’t feel like looking him up). I like the idea of the contest, where each participating country submits one act, allowing a friendly competition and a chance to get exposed to different cultures.
This year’s winner seems much more conventional, if a bit dramatic. Of course, the subject of her song probably evokes a lot of genuine emotion.
