Obama Invents His Racial Relations Legacy January 13, 2017Posted by geoff in News.
While we’ve cited numerous examples of President Obama’s delusional statements over the past 8 years, but I think this one outranks them all:
Though polls suggest that the majority of American believe race relations have worsened in the last eight years, the outgoing executive believes the country’s made progress in this area.
“Now I’ve lived long enough to know that race relations are better than they were 10 or 20 or 30 years ago,” Obama told supporters in Chicago Tuesday, “no matter what some folks say.”
What arrogance, to ignore “what some folks say,” just because he has an opinion. All those folks have lived in this country as well, many for longer than the president (me, for example). But with a wave of his hand he ignores those opinions, the polls, the protests, the attacks on police, the appearance of segregation on campus, etc.
He said it, so it must be so. His opponents called him a narcissist back when he was elected – I can’t disagree with that.
No matter what some presidents say.
