20170815_145451 The web site said it takes two to three hours to hike, depending on skill level. I did it in an hour and four minutes, because screw that web site. Also, I did it in jeans and without any water or anything, because screw basic preparedness.

It’s a good thing I went so fast, because I had a meeting afterwards. I made it with five minutes to spare. I felt like Mr. Incredible looking at my watch and saying, “yeah, I’ve got time.”

Hahaha. I had to giggle when you mentioned that “website” advice. I think people exaggerate the precautions to protect from getting sued if someone follows the advice and doesn’t like the results.

In a similar vein, restaurants appear to be doubling the wait time for being seated.
