Heading up to the mountains to celebrate the passage of my 6th decade next week, so if blogging in the recent past has been light, you can look forward to a week that is simply . . . evanescent.

Funny to think that I was in my early 40s when I first dove into the blogosphere.

At least we can all age together.

I guess the title should have been “Birthday Mini Hiatus,” because the birthday itself is going to be positively brobdingnagian.

Many happy returns of the day Gee-off. I didn’t care much about 50. I cared about 60. At 61 a month ago I said “well fuck it Dave at least your back ain’t broken anymore” so I guess I’m back to not caring. YAY!
