How can their arms be strong enough to hold up to the wind resistance?

7. Dave in Texas - January 11, 2008

They have super-retard strength.

8. MATT DAMON! - January 11, 2008

RETARD STRENGTH!!

9. sherlock - January 11, 2008

Wonder what their glide ratio is? I used to own a glider that could do 40 to 1, and that’s considered pretty pedestrian today. I suspect these guys are lucky to get 1 to 1. In other words, they could go forward one foot for every foot they dropped. Still pretty wild!

10. skinbad - January 11, 2008

I’d drop faster than 1 to 1. The load in my pants would affect the aerodynamics.

Published author with 10 million books in print says she didn’t know she was supposed to credit sources for material she copied.

Well, I credited a source.

A lot of creative juices went into linking this video. I’m certainly relieved that justice has been done. Although,

JUSTICE DELAYED IS JUSTICE DENIED!

Or so I’ve heard.

19. Judge Smails - January 11, 2008

You’ll get nothing, and you’ll like it!

20. Russ from Winterset - January 11, 2008

“She usually writes about American Indians, but has also written about pirates and the Civil War.”

Wow, that’s a pretty sweet gig. How about a romance novel featuring a Navaho pirate, set in 1862 Charleston?

21. lauraw - January 11, 2008

Rats, I was gonna main-page it tonight at ace’s

22. lauraw - January 11, 2008

25. geoff - January 11, 2008

Wasn’t this up at The Hostages a month ago?

26. skinbad - January 11, 2008

Could have been. A friend emailed it to me. Bart probably linked it in the Eternal Thread as well.

27. Michael - January 11, 2008

Cool.

I think The Hostages had a different video of this sport. The geography was much different.

You’re right, Dave. They were jumping in Oki, and breaking bitches afterwards.
